The Bluestocking Bookshop may seem like it's just a place for used books, but we love seeing it become a place of community! In store shopping allows you to check out the store's unique place in Holland, Michigan.
Starting September 5, 2024, we will be partnered with Art As A Lifestyle for decor and make-and-take gifts!
After managing the Moynihan Gallery in downtown Holland, artist Maranda Capaldi created Art As A Lifestyle to continue the creation of customized scents, one-of-a-kind gifts, and art as joy. We are now able to offer these services by appointment at The Bluestocking Bookshop. Create custom candles, soaps, lotions, scent rollers, and more to pair with your next favorite read!
Parties of 5+ will be invoiced for a $20 reservation fee, which will apply toward your group's final total.

Customer Accounts
When you shop with us, we invite you to start an account in our system so you can take advantage of the perks:
1. Frequent Buyer Points - Spend $100 with us in store and you'll receive a $5 voucher off your next purchase
