Kids Day at Bluestocking!

There’s something magical about watching a child fall in love with books. Whether it’s their first storytime or the hundredth time they’ve begged to re-read their favorite chapter, stories build the foundation for empathy, creativity, and connection. We think that’s worth celebrating!

As part of our Grand Reopening weekend, Kids Day is all about making space for joy. From 2 to 6PM, the bookshop will transform into a vibrant playground of chalk drawings, bubbles on the sidewalk, and story corners filled with laughter. Inside, little hands can get creative with crafts while big imaginations run wild at our special Sunday Soap Lab in the Art As A Lifestyle Fragrance Bar, where kids can blend scents and make their own soap creations to take home.

Throughout the afternoon, we’ll host engaging storytimes, welcoming young readers into new worlds with the help of beloved Bluestocking friends and, if you’re lucky, a few surprise…
